Y Creative Sugar was born from a love of baking and a deep connection to the flavors of Puerto Rico.

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, our founder, Yesenia, grew up enjoying the vibrant flavors that make the island so special — coconut, guava, almond, and other tropical-inspired flavors that bring back memories of home and celebration.

What began as a passion for baking eventually became a journey of creating cookies that were not only delicious, but also a reflection of the flavors and experiences that inspired her.

The Story Behind Our Crunchy Cookies

When Yesenia began creating cookies, she noticed that most cookies were soft, thick, and filled with decadent centers. She wanted to create something completely different.

Something small. Something incredibly crunchy. Something you could enjoy one after another.

That idea became our Crunchy Cookies.

After experimenting with the recipe, the result was everything she had imagined — perfectly crunchy, flavorful, and completely irresistible. What started as one idea quickly became a collection of flavors created for different tastes and cravings.
